| Your Z looks just like mine. :P I was looking at your profile. How did you connect the ferret to your stereo system. What happened to the other 1/2 ferret? :well i was all set to do some runs at my fairly local track(45min away) I called Friday to see if they would be open on Sunday and they said "Yes we will be open Sunday as long as we dont get any rain". So I got all ready for a day of fun. My mechanic Rich was riding in his brothers Talon along with his cousin, there was a white ttZ and i was by myself. So we cruised out to the track. We make it 3/4s of the way there and the Talons motor blows after launching from a light. Damn that sucks, so we left the dead car on a side road. Because nothing is stopping us from reaching our destination. Now there are 3 passingers to be divided between two TTZ two seaters. LOL. so i take RicH and his brother. It was pretty damn funny to see these two guys fit in a spot that was intended for one person(family togetherness). so we finish our trek to the drag strip. And wouldn't you know it the gates were locked. The place was a ghost town. Damnit its not raining where are these people. We call the track info number "today Sunday December 21st we will be closed." What!? all that crap to get there and the place isnt even open. We were all pretty pissed. So we headed home:( now I have a trunk which contains a 2 ton jack, 5 gallon container of 112 race gas and 2 stock wheels with my M/T E/T street tires. Oh and lets not forget my two passengers Rich=200lbs Roger=170 and of coarse me. Now this Z is packed. Please remember all thease facts for the next part of the story:)
:We are cruising down the highway and what do we see? Two Z06 corvettes so my passingers say dont worry about us lets Beat on some Z06s. The first one we lined up with w but he didnt want to play:( so we head up to the next one who was much more playful. As i make my way towards him he floors it so I chase him. He wasn't playing fair he wouldnt line up. He would only go when I fell behind him. So after about three times of doing this Rich says if he wants to play that way let him so i am about three cars behind him on an open road and he takes off and so do I. He keeps going and we are both all out. I reeled him which seemed slow but i caught up and passed him giving him a little wave as i screamed by him! :) Well i hadnt looked at my speedo the whole time. but Rich was paying close attention to it. He tells me I had passed 160 mph a bit before i passed the Z06! I shut down quite a few car lengths past the poor Z06 and was doing about 180mph. So I slow down to see what the guy had to say. lol. He was shaking his hand and said "damn that things Hot!! I was doing 145 and you BLEW by me!! He was amazed at what just happened. He was pretty cool about being smoked by a 13 year old rice burner. Afrer our little chat he just kinda rode beside us with his window down and his look of asonishment plastered on his face. LOL :) So we were all pretty siked about beating a highly regarded muscle/sports car while having such a rediculous amount weight packed in my poor little Z.
